This is from an unfinished picture book called “Everything I Know About Parents.” I abandoned the project about halfway through, after discovering that Dad is funny but Mom is revered (as she should be). In any case, I was left with an incomplete book but a few nice drawings.

A level-headed man

I went to the coffee shop with every intention of working on an unfinished manuscript, but then I spotted this guy and had to draw him. The perfectly flat flat-top contrasted nicely with his “American casual” outfit. I own as many pairs of cargo shorts as the next guy, but now I’m thinking they should only be worn by children and military personnel.
